Lagging sheets can be divided into multiple categories, mainly:
Plain/Diamond Lagging Sheet
These are smooth rubber surfaces which help to protect the pulleys along with the conveyor belts, thus maximising their longevity. They are ideal for small diameter pulleys on systems with black conveyor belt. It prevents belt from slippage (in particular when water is present) and increases the drive traction of the pulley. It also deflects water into lateral or diamond shaped grooves, away from pulleys.
